Steve Hale, President, worked in the Workers' Compensation Insurance Industry and as a Commercial Insurance Broker for many years before starting his own General Contracting business, the Hale Construction Group. Following 9/11, the company's main focus and success was in high-end kitchen and bath remodeling, with additional repair work continually coming in from existing customers. Many of Hale Construction Group's clients were investors requiring a helping hand with their property management... hence Preferred Property Management was born.

We know manage numerous commercial, single-family and multi-family properties in Snohomish & King County. The last several years have been successful to the point that we now employ full-time office and maintenance staff. We are also training a leasing agent and move in coordinator to assist with tenant management. With all their expertise we have been able to grow in leaps and bounds beyond our dreams and expectations.

Thomas Ross is a native of Snohomish County and comes from a long lineage of local real estate entrepreneurs and land developers. Growing up, Tom had the opportunity to work first hand in the family business, from land clearing to rental maintenance.

After college, Tom started his real estate career off as a loan officer specializing in residential mortgages before branching out into marketing and advertising. Utilizing his unique skill set and developing an uncompromising work ethic combined with the desire to help others reach their goals, Tom launched into the business of real estate sales.

After many years of record achievements in an ever-changing, highly competitive environment, Tom decided to take his business to the next level by combing forces with Preferred Property Management, thus creating Preferred Property Management NW.
